13 More Ways You Can Publicize Events Inside Your Church via Women's Ministry Toolbox

Earlier this week I shared 13 ways you can publicize events inside your church.

That was only half the list!

I’ve got 13 more publicity ideas for inside your church for you.

That’s right 26 ideas in all!

There’s bound to be a new idea or fresh spin on a way for you to reach your women.

Pick and choose the ones that make the most sense for your team and for that particular event.

Keep in mind many of your women do not use social media including Facebook. Make certain you don’t neglect them in your publicity efforts!

Talk as a team about which ideas will work best for each particular event.

Admittedly, using all 26 ideas would be a bit obnoxious!

  1. Printed newsletter
  2. Facebook
  3. Twitter
  4. Church Marquee Sign
  5. Power Point announcement slides before service begins
  6. Word of mouth
  7. Personal invitations
  8. Bulletin inserts (bookmarks, flyers)
  9. Postcards mailed to past attendees (great for repeat events)
  10. Candy mini-flyers (with a cute saying – Be a “smartie” and attend our Women’s Ministry Fellowship on December 14th at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall)
  11. Banners
  12. Registration table
  13. Church Website

Your turn to share: Did I miss any? What other publicity tools do you use to publicize events to church members?

We have dressed up in the “theme” of the event (ie: hawaiian luau) and passed out flyers between services. It really helps people get excited and have a visual of the fun!

  2. Erin Heidenreich says:

Hi there, how about CCd children flyers to their families, bring a guest get a prize, announcement from your priest, signs in bathrooms, teaser questions in bulletin too hope that helps!
