- Minimize your planning by attending a festival or event nearby.

Should your women’s ministry take a summer sabbatical?
Every Summer we have “Hot Flash Mob” night at the local frozen yogurt shop. We are blessed that the shop near our church has a large outside breezeway area. We each bring a camping chair and circle up outside of the shop with our yogurt. We do this one Sunday evening in June, July and August. There is no preparation time, and the opportunity for fellowship is wonderful. If I forget to get this date in the bulletin at church, I am always reminded… so I know the ladies enjoy this!
Jenny – what a FUN idea! Thanks so much for sharing it! 🙂
Here’s something we’ll be doing this summer–a morning picnic at a local park! I’m keeping it simple by having the women bring a chair and their favorite drink to sip on. Light refreshments will be served, and a short devotional will be shared. Thanks for all the helpful ideas you have on your site. I’m excited to have found you! :o)
Sharon – I want to come!!! 🙂 That sounds wonderful! Thank your for sharing your idea with other leaders! I am SO glad you are here!! May your time of fellowship with one another be especially sweet!
