Below you’ll find the show notes for episode 44, Coordinating Childcare for Bible Study and Women’s Ministry Events, from the Women’s Ministry Toolbox Podcast. Our discipleship series continues today with a discussion on coordinating childcare. I’ve got a few ideas to help you with common childcare struggles including recruiting help and paying for childcare. Is there…
Over the last 15+ years, I’ve had the opportunity to serve in five women’s ministries in five different churches. Everywhere I’ve served and even in the places where I haven’t, I’ve seen this women’s ministry mistake committed over and over again. And I’m not just throwing stones, I’m 100% guilty of committing it myself.

Two nights ago I had the privilege of passing out small candy canes as folks were approaching our church doors to attend a special Christmas production. My task was to make our guests feel welcome.

Are you struggling to find childcare solutions for your women’s ministry Bible studies, events, and activities?

Tip 19 provides a handy-dandy sign-up form flexible enough for any need. There are spaces for women to include their name, email address, and phone number.

Food costs can quickly sink your Women’s Ministry budget for an event.

Chances are you’re giving out door prizes at almost every Women’s Ministry event.

Mistakes are inevitable. I know from experience the damage, frustration, and division that can happen when we rush to put together or add to our team.

Everyone appreciates a little acknowledgement and appreciation for their commitment and hard work. I’ve seen several mint-themed thank you ideas floating around on Pinterest and thought I’d put my own spin on a free printable for you! 🙂

Nothing replaces a handwritten thank you note! Recipients not only feel appreciated, but they will remember they were not forgotten and are more likely to volunteer again in the future.
