A few weeks ago our women’s ministry team decided to distribute a survey to assess what our women were looking for from our team in the next year. We’ve also heard a lot of women mention that they miss our evening Bible study offering. What better way to find out how great the interest really…
Last summer I joined the women’s ministry team at our (new to us) church. I asked a lot of questions at that first meeting. How do I submit a receipt? When do I need to get my publicity submitted for the next church newsletter?

I thought the perfect way to end our 31 Days of Retreat Planning would be to give you a Retreat Planning Timeline. We’ve worked through a pile of details and it can be helpful to organize the pieces all in one place.

Yesterday we talked about having the women at your retreat complete a retreat survey. But there’s a second piece to evaluating your retreat – your team evaluation.

Registration is a great task for your type-A girls. You need someone who is detail oriented to oversee your retreat registrations.

We’re getting into some sticky and uncomfortable territory today. Pricing your retreat right is a big deal. And it’s hard. And if this is your first retreat, this part probably has your shaking in your boots.

Forgive me if this comes across as a little blunt or bossy, but I believe you need to set up a separate Retreat Planning Team.

I’m not talking about sponsoring a child through Food for the Hungry (though our family does) or adopting a Sunday school class.

Fall is almost here! Anyone else excited?! I must admit I am ready to put away my swimsuit and pull out my jeans and sweaters. Whether or not you can’t wait for those leave to start changing, fall offers some unique fellowship opportunities for your women.

Just a year ago I was getting ready to attend Bible study as the new girl. It’s easy for us “seasoned” Bible study girls and leaders to forget what that feels like.
