I very intentionally limit my use of AI. I view it as a tool void of the Holy Spirit and one that should be used sparingly and carefully in ministry situations.

I want you to know that the books I write, the blog posts and podcasts I record are created by me for you, based on my real-life experiences in ministry. I personally study God’s Word and prayerfully create all the resources I offer.

I write my teaching and speaking messages after deeply studying God’s Word with the Holy Spirit as my guide. Each message I share is unique and written by me. I do not use other people’s sermons or talks in my preparation. I use sound commentaries, including Logos, to dive deeper.

When I am researching a topic, I may use a search engine as a means of locating sources and gathering background information. On rare occasions, I may use AI to help me brainstorm other words or phrases to convey a point more clearly.

The scripts I have written for the podcasts and videos are my own words (which I publish as blog posts/show notes). I write out every post and podcast episode, in part because I’m a verbal processor and I’d be all over the place, but also because I value your time and want to make sure what I share is clear and correct.

When I am editing my podcasts/YouTube videos, I use AI tools built into the editing software to remove pauses and silence, replace words I have misspoken, and to improve the quality of the recording. I also use AI to create thumbnails for YouTube, help generate ideas for post/podcast titles, podcast descriptions, and related social media posts.

I do not use AI for the graphics I create, the email newsletters I send, or the resources I sell on Women’s Ministry Toolbox Shop.

At times, I use AI to help create sales and promotional copy, based on the content I have written.

I use AI to help correct misspellings, punctuation, etc. when I am writing posts and messages.

I take full responsibility for the materials I create, including whatever errors remain despite my care, and I offer my ideas and my words to the reader as the fruit of my own labor guided by my study of God’s Word and the Holy Spirit.
