God has been stirring in my heart for some time the need for Women’s Ministries to assess their renovation needs.
What we did 5, 8, or even 10 years ago is no longer effective.
We are struggling to reach the younger generations and when we do, we struggle to include them on a broader scale.
In many cases, our reach is shrinking despite spending more time and more money on events.
Please, please know I am not blaming you.
I know there are a host of reasons women’s ministries as a whole have fallen behind, not limited to a lack of funding, support, volunteers, time, and attendance.
I understand tight budgets. Throughout this series, I am going to share with you several ways you can renovate without spending any money.
So, how do you know if your ministry in is need of an update?
Would you ask God to open your eyes to see:
- Are you doing the same thing(s) you did 5-10 years ago?
- Are you utilizing the same methods (publicity, promotion, information dispersal) that you used 5 years ago?
- Are there holes (areas of ministry or groups of women) that need to be filled?
Over the next few weeks, we’re going to walk through six areas that may need a renovation in your church’s women’s ministry.
I’ll try to be gentle, but I do want you to expect to get your toes stepped on a bit.
Keep this one thing in mind: growth doesn’t happen without change.
May God open our eyes to see areas in our ministries that need renovation so that we may better reach His children.
May we be bold to step out in faith and obedience.
