Small Group and Bible Study leaders have many responsibilities, but the greatest of all is to pray for the women in their group.
Prayer prepares you for the different personalities in your group.
You are bound to encounter some “sandpaper people”. (Affiliate Link)
You may have women who attend, but never share with the group.
You may even have someone try to run the group for you!
Girls, we’ve got to be on our knees asking God to intercede. The power of the Holy Spirit is greater than anything!
This Small Group Prayer Guide offers specific prayers for you to pray as well as scripture verses for you to pray over your group.

What your prayers might sound like:
Father God, please give each of the women in my group the desire to spend time in your Word daily. Your Word says, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3: 16-17).
Lord, please give Sharon, Jen, Lois, Kim, Denise, and Becky a desire to spend time in your Word daily. For your Word says, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3: 16-17).
I know your to-do list is already long, but I urge you to make a point of praying regularly for your Small Group or Bible study group.
Prayer makes all the difference!
It’s your turn to share, how do you pray for your small group?
